‘Invisible Man’ Receives Seven Helen Hayes Award Nominations

The Studio Theatre in Washington, D.C., has garnered seven Helen Hayes Award Nominations for its Resident Production of Invisible Man, including the following:

  • Outstanding Play
  • Outstanding Ensemble (McKinley Belcher III, Teagle F. Bougere, Brian D. Coates, Johnny Lee Davenport, De’Lon Grant, Edward James Hyland, Joy Jones, Jeremiah Kissel, Deidra LaWan Starnes, and Julia Watt)
  • The Robert Prosky Award for Outstanding Lead Actor (Teagle F. Bougere)
  • Outstanding Director (Christopher McElroen)
  • Outstanding Set Design (Troy Hourie)
  • Outstanding Lighting Design (Mary Louise Geiger)
  • Outstanding Sound Design (David Remedios)
